The home holds DSHS specialty designations in both dementia care and mental health, which means our caregivers have completed the additional state-required training to support residents living with memory loss or a mental health diagnosis.
With no more than six residents, care here is personal. Staff know each person's routine, preferences, and history. The RN owner writes and reviews every care plan and coordinates with physicians, home health agencies, and hospice providers. The home is staffed around the clock, with a caregiver able to make decisions present at all times, and an LPN is scheduled as needed.
We support a wide range of needs: help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking; medication administration including insulin injections and blood sugar monitoring; Hoyer lift transfers; a two-hour repositioning schedule for residents at risk of skin breakdown; and coordination of hospice and end-of-life care. Nursing tasks beyond a caregiver's scope are handled through nurse delegation by a contracted registered nurse.
The Bonney Lake home accepts Medicaid and holds DSHS contracts for Adult Family Home, Expanded Community Services, and Specialized Behavior Support. Our most recent full DSHS inspection, in May 2025, found no deficiencies. Inspection reports and our Disclosure of Services are public records, and we encourage families to read them before touring.

The home is licensed for six residents. Bedrooms meet Washington State requirements for size, egress, and safety, with a smoke detector in every bedroom and grab bars in bathing areas. Residents are welcome to bring familiar furniture, photographs, and bedding so the room feels like their own.
