Silvergate at Buckley
Our newest six-bed adult family home in Buckley, where the registered nurse owner lives on site. DSHS dementia and mental health specialty designations. Private pay.

About this home
Silvergate at Buckley is a six-bed adult family home on Dundass Avenue in Buckley, Washington, licensed by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services in June 2026 under license number 759153. It is the second home opened by Mary Ndungu, RN, and it is run the same way as our Bonney Lake home: small, steady, and led by a nurse.
What sets Buckley apart is that the owner lives in the home. A registered nurse is present day to day, not just on call, and she knows each resident personally. The home holds DSHS specialty designations for dementia care and mental health, so caregivers have completed the state-required training for residents with memory loss or a mental health diagnosis. Awake overnight staff are scheduled when a resident's condition calls for it.
Care covers the full range of daily living support: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care, help with meals including texture-modified diets, and mobility assistance from standby support to Hoyer lift transfers. Medication services include administration, insulin injections, and blood sugar monitoring. Skin checks are done at every shower, and residents at risk of pressure injuries are repositioned on a two-hour schedule.
Silvergate at Buckley is currently private pay. Families who expect to need Medicaid in the future should talk with us before admission so we can explain the options honestly. Because the home is new, DSHS has not yet completed an inspection; the Disclosure of Services is on file and available through the DSHS provider lookup.
Tours are available daily by appointment. Call (360) 761-7123 to speak with us directly, or reach the Bonney Lake office at (253) 447-8544.
Walk through the home
Choose any room to see it larger, then step from room to room. Tours in person are always welcome too.
Rooms and amenities
The home is licensed for six residents and was prepared for licensing in 2026, so bedrooms, bathrooms, and safety features meet current Washington State requirements, including smoke detectors in every bedroom and grab bars in bathing areas. Residents may furnish their rooms with their own belongings.
Because the home opened recently, several rooms are available now. Call to ask about private and shared options.
